Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 23, 2017 (RSCNPF): Commissioner of Police Mr. Ian M. Queeley during a press conference on Thursday (February 23) while highlighting the way forward for the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, revealed that to ensure the highest quality in the recruits brought into the service, the use of Polygraph testing and Psychological evaluations will be incorporated into the screening process.

Commissioner Queeley noted that the Human Resources Department within the Force has seen indications that the Police Service is again becoming a top choice for our Nation’s sons and daughters. To underscore that point he told the listening audience, “we encourage you to encourage them to continue to come forward and serve. We will need our Nation’s best and brightest in areas such as Accounting, Chemistry, Law, other disciplines as the fight against crime becomes more technical and complex, and we also need those with language skills as our Federation becomes more diverse.”
