“I do believe that the story of Lion King has lessons for all of us, whether it be adults or children. Creative Arts are an important part of our own development,” said the Honourable Shawn Richards, Minister of Culture, as he expressed his anticipation for the impending performance and encouraged the public to come out in its numbers to support the production.

He also mentioned that the show will be displaying the Caribbean’s culture as well as highlighting the performing arts. The minister of culture emphasized the St. Kitts and Nevis Government’s willingness to support nationals and residents interested in pursuing the performing arts.

“I believe that more of our own people need to take up the challenge and responsibility to get involved in the performing arts.”

The “Lion King” Antigua Edition has the same storyline as the popular Broadway play, but will feature a Caribbean twist.
