Governor General Expresses Sincerest Sympathy on the Passing of the Former Governor General of Barbados

His Excellency The Governor- General Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton, GCMG, CVO, QC, JP on behalf of the Government and People of of Saint Kitts and Nevis has extended condolences to Sir Philip Greaves, Acting Governor-General of  Barbados on the passing of the former Governor-General Sir Clifford Husbands, GCMG, KA. Sir Clifford was Barbados’s longest serving Governor General 1996 to 2011 and earlier served in the Chambers of the Attorney-General in St. Kitts Nevis and Anguilla between 1954 ad 1960. Sir Clifford was well known and respected in St. Kitts and Nevis and other Caribbean Islands where he served and had many friends.

His Excellency requested the Acting Governor-General of Barbados to convey sincerest sympathy to Sir Clifford’s family.
