BASSETERRE (24TH Dec., 2017): Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Mrs Carlene Henry-Morton, led a delegation of tourism stakeholders onboard the Silver Muse, to commemorate the ship’s inaugural visit to the destination.
Having debuted in the Spring of 2017, the Silver Muse is the largest ship within the Silver Seas fleet and exudes European luxury.
Mrs Henry-Morton presented Captain Alessandro Zanello with a plaque to honor the inaugural visit.
“On behalf of the Government and people of St. Kitts, I welcome your passengers and crew to experience our natural beauty, our culture and our warm hospitality,” Henry-Morton said. “The arrival of the Silver Muse marks the 11th ship to start new visits to our island, and shows the confidence cruise lines have in St. Kitts as a premier cruise destination.”
Silver Muse redefines ultra-luxury ocean travel with nine suite choices which are hallmarks of the Silver Seas with marble bathrooms, high-end décor and spacious rooms.
There are eight restaurants on board for passengers to experience an array of culinary choices from France, Italy, Japan and India, as well as; a do-it yourself restaurant called the Grill—where guests can cook their own meals in front of them from on top of a grill stone or inside a soup bowl.
In addition, the luxury cruise ship has a state-of-the-art fitness center, a spa, casino, pool deck and jacuzzi area.
