UWI Honours Sir Tapley Seaton With Prestigious Pelican Award

His Excellency The Governor – General Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton, GCMG, CVO, QC, JP this morning (Thursday 29th March) hosted a short ceremony at Government House, St. Kitts to present a Certificate from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Second to Mr. Kendrick (Ken) Evelyn of Nevis.

Her Majesty The Queen as head of the Commonwealth has sought to honour Commonwealth citizens who are outstanding volunteers making a significant impact on the lives of others within and beyond their local communities. One volunteer in each Commonwealth Country will be recognized every weekday in the run up to the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London. The Award from the Queen reads as follows:-
