His Excellency The Governor–General Sir S w Tapley Seaton, GCMG,CVO, QC,JP will
be absent from Saint Christopher and Nevis for a period of short duration and accordingly
has appointed Deputy Governor–General for Nevis Her Honour Mrs Hyleeter Liburd MH
to act as Governor–General‘s Deputy and in that capacity to discharge the functions of
the Office of the Governor–General with effect from Monday 5th August, 2019. His
Excellency on Friday 2nd August, 2019 administered the Oaths of Office and Allegiance
to Her Honour Mrs Liburd MH at Government House, Nevis.
