“On behalf of the Government and people of Grenada, I offer sincere congratulations on your recent victory at the polls at the National General Elections held on August 5th, 2022. Your party’s triumph, the Saint Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, reflects the confidence that the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis have placed in the Labour Party and its ability to chart a new course toward a different period of governance and development.

“I therefore look forward to working with you, and your new government, bilaterally and through the channels of CARICOM and the OECS, where we can further strengthen the regional integration movement and enhance relations between our two countries.

“I also look forward Prime Minister to collaborating with the government of Saint Kitts and Nevis to advance discussions in the international arena on important issues, such as climate change which and as our experience has demonstrated, can have devastating effects on our countries, particularly the Small Island Developing States (SIDS).

“To this end, please accept my very best wishes on your victory and for the continued well-being of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development of Grenada avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Basseterre the assurances of its highest consideration.”
