MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE WINS TOURISM’S 2022 BATTLE ROYALE

(Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 12, 2022): 

A team of staff members from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources and Cooperatives captured the Ministry of Tourism’s “Battle Royale” championship title on Saturday, 12th November 2022 at South Friars Bay.

The team was successfully led by Captain and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources and Cooperatives, Miguel Flemming.

The competitors battled against several other government ministries, competing in multiple rounds of sports including tug of war, a sack race, a water balloon throwing contest, a bun eating competition, lime and spoon, musical chairs and more.

The Battle Royale forms part of the Tourism Awareness Month celebrations held annually in November.
