Job Description
Job Title: Change Manager
Work Location: National ICT Center, C.A.P. Southwell Industrial Site
Division/Department: Digital Transformation Management Unit 
Reports to: Chief Digital Transformation Officer

Description of Post:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the change management strategy and plan for digital transformation programs, including managing change impacts, communications, organizational readiness and change as core components of digital transformation. Help determine objectives, scope and timeline for the change initiatives 
Work closely with the workstreams as a change management partner to drive change requirements with the aim to support the successful delivery of the projects in scope for the transformation initiatives 
Monitor the change and act as a resource for addressing questions and concerns 
Perform potential change impact assessments to determine who will be affected, how and when  
Manage the cultural and organizational change activities for projects required by the transformation, making sure government stakeholders are brought along the journey and that the transformation is as seamless as possible Help manage resistance to change Identify and manage change impacts of the various projects, and define and execute change management plans to address them  
Develop change communications in collaboration with program managers and coordinate change agents to support the roll out of the changes  
Develop and facilitate necessary but sometimes difficult messages, both for staff and stakeholders/customers, which may impact on ways of working to implement change 
Coaching and supporting work-stream leaders, initiative owners and change leaders in change and transformation project management 
Document progress, challenges, concerns and lessons 
Any other duty that may be assigned.
  
Skills and Competencies:
A good understanding of Change Management principles, methodologies and practices 
Experience in planning, implementing and managing change initiatives 
High emotional intelligence to be able to appreciate the emotions and reactions that come with change 
A good understanding of data analysis 
Excellent leadership and conflict-resolution skills; an excellent listener 
Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills 
Skill in analyzing complex situations, identifying potential obstacles, and developing strategies to overcome challenges 
Can design and deliver training activities 
A good technical understanding of their assigned domain 
Education and/or Experience:
The Applicant must have the following skills:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
Certifications in Change Management will be an asset 

Salary: K39 – K41 (76,068 – $83,292) per annum
The deadline for the receipt of application is July 31st, 2024.
